TaeguTec Signs Agreement to Financially Support Health of Needy
TaeguTec and the National Health Insurance Service of Dalseo Region branch office in the Daegu Metropolitan Area inked an agreement to financially support low-income families living in the region on March 27, 2014.
Ever since TaeguTec joined the program in December 2005, the Korean metalworking giant has taken the lead by footing the government health insurance bill of 200 needy households each month.
“We thank God that there are good corporations like TaeguTec that take an interest in financially supporting the needy every month,” said one of the invitees who is also local senior citizen.

The signing ceremony was presided by TaeguTec president Han Hyun-jun and NHIS Dalseo Region branch office director Song Young-su, and attended by 20 of the region’s needy, top brass from TaeguTec and the branch office’s government workers.
Dalseo is a region in the Daegu Metropolitan Area of South Korea, the city where the TaeguTec headquarters is located.
In the course of their visit to TaeguTec, honored guests were treated to a tour of the highly technological facilities that manufacture some of the world’s most advanced cutting tools and industrial products, and also were treated to a special luncheon with local senior citizens.
During his welcoming speech, Han explained that “TaeguTec plans to further and continuously financially support the health of senior citizens living in the Dalseo Region.”
