Secret is Out, TaeguTec’s Monozukuri Success at JIMTOF
Since the right location plays an important equation for a successful business, then the same practice applies for the location of a company’s booth at big trade shows like the one recently in Tokyo.
The amount of visitors to the TaeguTec booth increased substantially at this year’s Japan International Machine Tool Fair (JIMTOF) thanks not only to the growing reputation in Japan of the company’s high-quality cutting tools and services, but also because of the central location within the exhibition complex located at Tokyo Big Sight from October 30 to November 4.
Thousands of people, both existing and would-be customers, visited the booth to gather information concerning the newest cutting tool solutions and see firsthand why this company grew into an important player in the Japanese machining and manufacturing sector.
With the introduction of many new cutting tools by TaeguTec and the rising need for machining products sold the world over, Japanese companies are continually branching out to new areas that involve higher precision tools.

TaeguTec has always been at the forefront, creating tools made from optimal materials such as tungsten coated carbide, cermet, ceramics, PCDs and CBN sintered compacts, and transforming them into effective shapes that utilize ideal coating technologies to develop cutting tools that meet the highest standards in the world.
Also, on display at JIMTOF 2014, TaeguTec showcased its latest cutting tools that are the result of using ultra-fine powders, including ultra-small diameters and ultra-precision tools that have successfully undergone extensive development and commercialization.
The products on display at the TaeguTec booth are the direct result of special incubation research and development teams that work not only to create better products, but also compete against each other to improve and also technologically advance the customers’ machining needs.
In order for visitors to understand the concepts used by TaeguTec’s higher precision products, engineers and sales people were on hand to explain how the myriad of tools produced by one of Asia’s metalworking giants can increase productivity while drastically reduce cost.
In addition, TV monitors where peppered all over the TaeguTec floor plan, televising demonstrations of the company’s tools efficiently and effortlessly machining products made from hard to machine alloys to everyday steels.
In each case, TaeguTec’s engineers were able to recommend the correct solution almost immediately, which in turn helps spawn future onsite demonstrations where the real challenges and solutions lay.
This year’s JIMTOF tag line of monozukuri describes exactly what TaeguTec is all about; a company with a state of mind and spirit to produce not only excellent products but also have the ability to constantly improve the production system and its processes in order to better serve its customers.
As one of the top 3 cutting tool exhibitions worldwide, JIMTOF presented an excellent opportunity for viewing TaeguTec products in detail, which in turn will prove helpful in the monozukuri of tomorrow.
