TaeguTec Customer Seminars in Brazil Highlight Benefits for Growth
Brazil’s economy has grown remarkable well in the past decade and in result of this, the country’s middle class has emerged and is demanding more consumer goods.
But, with growing pains starting to show, Brazil’s industrial scenery and economy are suffering from challenges that are adversely affecting the productivity of Latin America’s shining light.
For 2015, analysts forecast slight growth compared to the past two years due to the current political landscape, weak infrastructure and low private investment.
To assist metalworking companies in the Joinville and Cachoeiro de Itapemirim area, TaeguTec Brazil recently held a series of customer seminars that focused on new products and solutions catered towards the Brazilian market.
The main objective of the seminar was to show how the Asian metalworking giant’s cutting tools can properly be applied towards the Brazilian automotive and mold and die industries so that local companies can not only save on cost, but also increase productivity.
Joinville is a major industrial, financial and commercial center and the third largest municipality in the state of Santa Catarina in southern Brazil.
The success of the Joinville region has welcomed giant global automakers such as General Motors who opened a motors factory in 2012 and is planning to invest up to $1 billion in the coming years to open another plant, and BMW who in 2013 announced the building of its first plant in Latin America in the same region.
Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, the other city on the list of visitors to the TaeguTec Brazil office, is a region where the economy is starting to grow.
Because of this new found economic expansion, TaeguTec Brazil is interested in fostering more business from the area. Main industries the Cachoeiro de Itapemirim region include steel mills and the maintenance of oil and gas.
For the Joinville customer seminar, a total of 70 guests listened to TaeguTec Brazil product managers in milling discuss the company’s newest tools and expansions from highly popular lines such as the next generation MillRush and Mill2Rush; the strong and economical ChaseMold and Chase2Mold; and the amazing 14 cutting edge Chase2Hepta line.
The Cachoeiro de Itapemirim seminar, though slightly smaller with 50 guests in attendance, revolved around the new and expanded products in the turning line. High on the agenda for this seminar was to gather information about TaeguTec’s popular RhinoRush, a small but strong line that has revolutionized the cutting world due to its amazing long life and incredible productivity prowess.
After both events, a special dinner was organized so that the guests could discuss new business opportunities in a relaxed, stress free environment.
