TaeguTec TTAPPs First Comprehensive Technical
August 31, 2015 – TaeguTec has launched TTAPP, the first comprehensive technical mobile app of its kind for tablets and smartphone devices in order to offer end-users access to the full spectrum of TaeguTec tools.
TTAPP is TaeguTec’s virtual cyber salesperson, offering TaeguTec’s ongoing innovative products and machining solutions, putting the Asian metalworking giant at the frontier of digital media technology.
By gearing the app to cater to TaeguTec’s end-users, salespeople and distributors, TTAPP combines five very useful and user-friendly applications for metal cutting CNC programmers, process engineers, setup experts and all other metalworking professionals seeking to find the right tool as quickly and effortlessly as possible.
In order to match application requirement with the appropriate machining solutions, TTAPP’s TaeguTec Tool Advisor (TTA) option amalgamates the comfort and reliability of a friendly engineer-salesperson with a powerful software in order to assist industrial users in selecting the best available solution for deciding upon cutting tool recommendations, cutting data, power requirements and productivity results.
By inputting key words or searching by application, the e-Catalog option effectively pits TaeguTec’s powerful search engine with its electronic catalog in order to guide industrial professionals in selecting the right tool for their ideal solution.
In order to break the confusion brought on by the abundant amount of products provided by all cutting tool providers, the Insert Converter section of TTAPP deciphers the uncertainty felt when attempting to figure out which TaeguTec tool matches with the end-users’ current grades and geometries used by other companies.
TTAPP’s Machining Calculator brings the power of engineering calculators into the smartphone and tablet age by calculating the required values per application such as RPMs, table feeds, chip thickness, power, torque, force, metal removal rates and machining times.
Last but not least is the Machining Power option which is a simple, user-friendly machining calculator that can be used to estimate net metal-cutting power demands, material removal rates, cutting forces and built-up torques for various machining applications.
TTAPP is available for iPhone, iPad and Android system smartphones and tablet computers and can be downloaded from iTunes and Google Play. TaeguTec users who have already installed TaeguTec's e-catalog are kindly requested to remove the previous application from their device and install the new TTAPP application via iTunes or Google Play.
